Collect 1 mL in a sterile container with a leak-proof cap. Ship refrigerate.



Collect 1 mL in a sputum collection kit or a sterile, plastic container with a leak-proof cap. Ship refrigerate.


Throat or Nasopharyngeal Swab:

Collect in 3 mL M4 media or V-C-M medium (green-cap) tube or equivalent (UTM). Ship refrigerate.
