Reference Values Describes reference intervals and additional information for interpretation of test results. May include intervals based on age and sex when appropriate. Intervals are Mayo-derived, unless otherwise designated. If an interpretive report is provided, the reference value field will state this.
Males: 200-375 mg/dL
Females: 200-430 mg/dL
In normal, full-term newborns and in healthy, premature infants (30-36 week gestation), fibrinogen is near adult levels and reaches adult levels by < or =21 days postnatal.
