Specimen Required

This test is not a stand-alone, orderable test, but must be accompanied

by test #88501 "Renal Pathology Consultation" and #8331 "Renal Biopsy,

Light Microscopy."

 

"Renal Biopsy Patient Information Sheet" is required for all orders

and is included in the Renal Biopsy Kit (Supply T231). Collect specimens

according to the instructions in "Renal Biopsy-Procedures of Handling

Tissue for Light Microscopy, Immunohistology, and Electron Microscopy"

in Special Instructions.

Note:    If not ordering electronically, please submit the above

                  information sheet along with a "Pathology/Cytology In Situ

                  Request Form" (Supply T246) with the specimen.
