Genomic DNA is extracted from whole blood. The xTAG Assay for CYP2D6 incorporates multiplex PCR and multiplex allele-specific primer extension (ASPE) with Luminex Molecular Diagnostics’ proprietary Universal Tag sorting system on the Luminex 100 xMAP platform.
