Testing Algorithm Delineates situation(s) when tests are added to the initial order. This includes reflex and additional tests.

For each BHIS ordered, 1 Goldner trichrome-stained slide and 1 unstained slide will be sent to the client. Hematoxylin and eosin-stained slides are sent to pathology for review. BHIRO / Bone Histomorphometry, Iron Stain and BHALU / Bone Histomorphometry, Aluminum Stain are available at an additional charge. Duplicate stained slides (BHDS / Bone Histomorphometry, Duplicate Slides) are available upon request at an additional charge.
