Note: Special stains performed outside Mayo Medical Laboratories and included with the case may be repeated and charged at the reviewing pathologist's discretion. In addition, testing requested by referring physician (immunostains, molecular studies, etc.) may not be performed if deemed unnecessary by Mayo pathologist. For all surgical pathology consultations, auxiliary testing is ordered at the discretion of the Mayo pathologist.
