    Interpretation for Patients Undergoing Immunotherapy

       

              <2.0            ug/mL - normal, non-atopic subject

             2.0-5.4         ug/mL - untreated atopic subjects

             5.5-40.0     ug/mL - indicates increasing levels of

                                   antibody

       

*IgG4 antibodies are detected in a high percentage of

  patients tested for banana, egg/egg components as well as

  milk/milk components. As with all IgG4 tests, results

  need to be correlated to the history and clinical

  symptoms of the patient in order to obtain an accurate

  diagnosis.
