Reference Range:

> or = 0.50 IU/mL  post-vaccination

         

Interpretive criteria:

<0.30 IU/mL   Antibody not detected

 > or = 0.30 IU/mL   Antibody detected

This assay is designed to measure anti-rabies glycoprotein

antibodies induced by rabies vaccination only; it should not be

used as a tool to assess natural exposure to rabies virus.

Antibody levels of 0.50 IU/mL or greater are expected in post-

vaccination sera.
