INTERPRETIVE CRITERIA:  <35  Normal IL2 level

                     > or = 35  Elevated IL2 level

         

   Elevated levels of circulating IL-2 are present in patients

   with AIDS, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, SLE,

   and type 1 diabetes melitus. Elevated levels are also

   present during transplant rejection.

         

   This assay was performed using a kit labeled for "For

   Research Use Only" by the kit manufacturer. The kit's

   performance characteristics have been established and

   validated by Focus Diagnostics for in-vitro

   diagnostic use.
