Oral neomycin is poorly absorbed from the normal GI tract (approx. 3%) and systemic levels are not established. Repeated dosing may result in  increased tissue levels. Blood levels for IM dosing are not well established but are considered to be in the range of 6 - 12 mcg/mL (peak). Any undisclosed antimicrobials might affect the results.
