Mean peak serum levels 1 to 2 hours after a 1 gm intramuscular dose: 28 to 32 mcg/mL (range 20.0-47.0 mcg/mL)
Intravenous dosing results in a 30 +/- 47% increase in peak levels.
Trough serum level - not well established.
