Burkholderia Pseudomallei Antibody Panel, IFA

Reference Values Describes reference intervals and additional information for interpretation of test results. May include intervals based on age and sex when appropriate. Reference Ranges:  IgG <1:64

                              IgM <1:40

 

IgG titers greater than or equal to 1:128 for a single

serum are indicative of exposure to Burkholderia

pseudomallei. An IgM titer of 1:40 or greater suggests

recent or current infection.  A four-fold or greater

increase in IgG titer between acute and convalescent sera

confirms recent or current infection.
