Strongyloides Antibody, IgG by ELISA, Serum

Reference Values Describes reference intervals and additional information for interpretation of test results. May include intervals based on age and sex when appropriate. Intervals are Mayo-derived, unless otherwise designated. If an interpretive report is provided, the reference value field will state this.

Reference Interval:

          1.49 IV or less       Negative - No significant level of

                                      Strongyloides IgG antibody

                                      detected.

          1.50 - 2.10 IV         Equivocal - Questionable presence

                                      of Strongyloides IgG antibody

                                      detected. Repeat testing in 10-14

                                      days may be helpful.

          2.11 IV or greater   Positive - IgG antibodies to

                                      Strongyloides detected, which may

                                      suggest current or past infection.
