Discusses physiology, pathophysiology, and general clinical aspects, as they relate to a laboratory test
- Anti-Jo 1 Abs are found in subset of myositis patients characterized by interstitial lung disease, systemic polyarthritis, Raynaud's Phenomena, fever and Mechanic's Hand (anti-synthetase syndrome).
- Anti-Jo 1 appears to be a marker for interstitial lung disease in polymyositis.
