DOT/ICAO Certified Tubes
Mayo Medical Laboratories provides containers for the safe transport of medical specimens to our facilities. We encourage the use of these supplies, provided at no charge to our customers.
These supplies, such as Serum/Plasma Aliquot Tube 6ml (T465), and Urine Aliquot Tube 10 ml (T068), have been tested to conform to DOT/ICAO regulations.
In addition, the following tube and cap combinations have passed the internal pressure test requirements outlined in the following:
- Department of Transportation's Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Section 173.23
- International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO); Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods By Air; Part 4; 1.1.6
