2008 Phlebotomy Forums

Mayo Medical Laboratories invites you to participate in the 2008 Phlebotomy Forums. Three sessions will be offered that address several aspects of phlebotomy such as pediatric patients, outreach facilities, employees and manager issues.

Format

This series will be presented through an interactive audio and Web conference format. The presentation handout will be e-mailed prior to the conference call and may also be viewed via Global Crossing Live Meeting technology. Global Crossing requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Presentations will be tailored based upon pre-submitted questions from participants. Part of the program will be reserved to address questions that arise during the presentation.

Intended Audience

This series is appropriate for phlebotomists, phlebotomy managers, phlebotomy educators, and other patient care staff involved in specimen collection.

Credit

Mayo Medical Laboratories is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® program. These live programs have been approved for a maximum of 1.5 P.A.C.E. contact hours. Level of instruction for these programs is intermediate.

Mayo Medical Laboratories is approved as a Continuing Education Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science for State of California and State of Florida credit. The level of instruction for this program is intermediate. This program has been approved for 1.5 contact hours.
