Sierra is Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Consultant in the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Dr. Thomas Moyer is Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Consultant in the Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology. Dr. Sierra will discuss the clinical aspects of metal-on-metal hip implants and Dr. Moyer will explain the role of serum chromium and cobalt in evaluating prosthetic implant degradation
