In the first part of this series I will discuss some misordered tests, that is, tests that are mistakenly ordered for the wrong purpose. This slide shows the most commonly misordered tests received by MML. Today, we will limit our discussion to vitamin D, parathyroid hormone, and porphyria enzyme testing.
