This initially relies heavily on four laboratories Central Processing, Central Clinical Labs, Biochemical Genetics and the Renal Laboratory. The little table that you see on this slide shows the type of specimen being collected. Some labs are only providing serum samples. Others, like a biochemical genetics lab, can provide an improvised plasma or an EDTA plasma.  The specimens are assigned a de-identifying number, and we have a commercial software that allows us to maintain a good record for tracking the specimen, which is stored at -70˚C.
