Algorithms

Algorithms are diagnostic approaches recommended by physicians and laboratory experts at Mayo Clinic. They provide guidance to appropriate ordering and use of laboratory tests. The use of algorithms may reduce unnecessary testing and accelerate the diagnostic process.

Communiqué Articles

The Communiqué is published six times per year. Each issue provides laboratorians and physicians with an original scientific feature article, information on new diagnostic tests, changes in procedures or reference ranges, and continuing medical education programs and workshops. A complimentary subscription to printed issues is provided to Mayo Medical Laboratories’ clients and also is available in electronic, audio, and mobile formats.
