Mayo Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is comprised of more than 2,200 employees, with supervisors and pathologists available around the clock. We provide medical and scientific expertise in our specialized laboratories which are equipped with the latest diagnostic instrumentation and staffed by professionals committed to quality diagnostic testing.

The specimens you submit are indistinguishable from – and follow the same route as – our internal Mayo Clinic specimens. As one of the largest clinical laboratories in the world more than 18 million specimens were processed by our Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology last year.
